Friday and Saturday are fresh fish days at the Wonder.

 

Fish delivered the same day for complete freshness see the menu below.

STARTERS

Scallops with white wine & cream served with crusty bread  

                 

Sardines simply grilled with lemon                          

                          

Oriental Crab cakes served with a chilli dip sauce       

                   

MAIN

 

Monkfish simply grilled & served with sweet roast peppers

                 

Grilled Lemon Sole fillet braised in cream, wine & parsley  

        

Skate wing pan-fried in black butter & capers                                

 

Cod poached in white wine                       

                                   

Sea bass fillets pan-fried with crushed potatoes & watercress                  

 

Grilled Trout, whole grilled trout (state preference - head on or off)  

 

Red Mullet fillets poached and served mussels & spinach                     

 

Large Smoked haddock fillet simply poached in butter                         

 

All served with potatoes & fresh vegetables, unless stated.

 

 

Our fish is delivered either Thursday evening or Friday morning from a local supplier, thus making it as fresh & tasty as possible.
