Homemade Pies Night

Worlds Wonders reputation is growing for our own Homemade pies and puddings.

 

All cooked on site from fresh local free range Meat, Poultry Fish or Game (when in season)

 

 

Good Old Fashioned Pies made the way they used to be made; full of flavour and deep filled with meat - short crust pastry top and bottom!

 

 

Fish Pie: - Smoked & white fish with salmon & prawns all star together in a white wine sauce under buttery mash potato.                          

Rabbit & Bacon Pie: - Local rabbit with bacon served with a thick gravy.                                                                                         

Steak & red wine Pie: - Best local beef is used to give full flavour and texture to this favourite, served with deliciously thick gravy.        

Chicken & mushroom pie: - Local Free-Range chicken cooked to perfection in a creamy sauce, home made? Of Course                

Minty Lamb pie: - Local lamb, tender and succulent meat in a minty sauce hidden in homemade short crust pastry.                                  

Steak & kidney pie: - What can be said about this old traditional favourite that has not already been said, except ours IS tastier.

Savoury Suet Puddings

 

Bacon & Leek pudding: - Suet pudding just the way Mum used to make it, hides a delicious mouth-watering treat, of locally cured bacon & fresh leeks.                                                                                   

Game pudding: - Venison, pheasant, partridge & hare cooked to perfection in a full flavoured sauce, then cooked in our homemade suet pastry to complete the pudding.       

                                            

All accompanied by seasonal vegetables, with a choice of new or mash potatoes.

 

All pies are made here on the premises by our head chef Ian, and therefore are subject to availability of seasonal ingredients
